Grothe GmbH can look back on a long company history. Grothe was founded in Cologne in 1892.
In 1998 Grothe moved to Hennef and since 2001 belongs to the owner-run Italian Group Urmet (3000 employees; 470 million euros turnover).
Within the Group, Grothe GmbH provides central support as a competence centre for chimes, radio technology and transformers. The particular strength of the company lies in the diversified range of products for house communication and security technology.
It ranges traditionally from chimes, push buttons, safety- and bell-transformers and products for signalisation for industry, public buildings and schools, through to home inter phones, door stations in all variations to security technology.
The comprehensive range of safety equipment includes radio-controlled and wired alarm systems, and video surveillance as a local solution or as a network (IP) solution and ensures security for all requirements.
Expert advice is provided by the field staff on site with the installer or at the wholesaler or by application engineers in customer service for telephone inquiries.
